We started our week in Paris with a parisian breakfast. Here I’d like to make a little announcement, I’m breakfast addicted, I love LOVE eating breakfast, in fact i shall die without breakfast. A wonderful breakfast in the sun is just simply the best way to kick off the day. So, for people out there who skips breakfast, START EATING BREAKFAST!
This lovely cafe was just across our hotel. In Paris, there’s never a problem of finding a cafe, it’s literally everywhere. However, we decided to go with the “Parisian Breakfast” menu, which came very simple with croissant, french bread, jam, fresh juice, and a cup of coffee.
We were sitting outside of the cafe, enjoying the morning sun, watching people on the streets (as I somehow like to), and feeling the wind breezing through. In most of the Asian country, sitting outside of a restaurant is not common, it’s either too hot, too cold,or too much traffic and pollution. So, though the price of this meal wasn’t looking so lovely (€22), I was still willing to pay. (And also learned the price of living in Paris is not so friendly)
Our hotel was within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, therefore we decided to take a walk instead of riding the metro. I was getting more and more excited every single steps as we were approaching the tower, you can just see it so clearly from a distance, IT’S THE EIFFEL TOWER!
Its was a super sunny day, way too sunny I’d say, somebody actually ended up hugging a street lamp to cool himself down.
Eiffel Tower is always a symbol of a dream, I mean, who doesn’t love it? As we walk around the tower, and seeing it from more different angles, it just gets more and more magical. If you cross the river to the other side of the tower, Jardins du Trocadero, where is said to be the best place to take pictures of Eiffel tower, You’ll see this giant water fountain surrounded by lovely green grass, with Eiffel tower and crystal blue sky as background. It’s a wonderful picture.

There is always a huge line underneath Eiffel Tower, which is for accessing to the top. There’s two options, you can go up to the 2nd floor, or to the top floor (as the image below shows). I’d suggest to book a ticket online previously, which is more convenient and also save up your time for waiting in the longest line I’ve seen in my life. Also, it’s recommended to book the ticket in advance, otherwise there’s a big chance the ticket might be sold out.
