As some of you might have already known, this summer had been a crazy two month of traveling for me! Starting from Xinjiang, China, to Shenzhen, China, to Seoul, Korea, then to Hong Kong, and finally to the U.S.. Alright, it was a long list. But before I start writing about all of them, I’d actually like to begin from my final station! San Francisco!
Though my visit to San Francisco was only a short stay of two days, I had loaaads of fun. Maybe I did not have to time to visit all the famous attractions, I but sure enjoyed strolling around the beautiful streets of this beauty.
The weather was cloudy and a bit rainy upon our arrival at SF, still it did not suppress the beauty of this fascinating city. I stayed at Sheraton Hotel fisherman’s wharf, which I would highly recommend for its convenient location.
It was my first time ever to visit San francisco, and of course, first thing first, SEAFOOD! One does not come to SF without having some best quality of seafood. Luckily, just one block down my hotel is the famous Pier39, which is probably one of the most famous tourist attraction in SF and also a seafood paradise.
Oh we were so hungry that we just walked into the first restaurant that we saw ─ Fog Harbor. And it turned out to a wonderful choice.
The food was fabulous as well as the atmosphere, right outside of our window was the lovely ocean view with some seagulls come and gone. I really enjoy dinning at pier restaurants, fresh seafood by the ocean, what more is there to ask for? I have been to the ones in Seattle, LA, but Pire39 is probably my favourite out of all! very relaxing and the quality of food really does stand out. Oh, an of course an apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream at the end would do no harm <3!
After lunch, I decided to go for a walk along the piers, all the way from pier39 to the ferry building. If you ever come to SF, I would suggest you to do the same. It takes about 30-40 mins, and it’s definitely a walk to enjoy!
The Plant Organic Cafe at Embarcadero was definitely one of my favourite spot along the way. To me fresh juices are just irresistible, especially when you have an outdoor seat by the ocean to enjoy with.
At the end of the walk we came across this giant blue renewed building, the Ferry Building, which I was recommended by one of my friend who told me no detail but only said “Just go, you’re gonna like it!”
And he was absolutely rightttttt!
Ferry building was totally my kind of place! Inside this renewed historical building stores numberous adorable unique shops. Trust me I spent 20 mins only walked 5 meters.
Ferry Building
Ferry Building就是他推薦我來的,只記得他說了句「Just go, you’re gonna like it!」,就叫我別再問下去了(可能覺得我問題怎麼這麼多吧)。 因為Ferry Builfing完全就是My kind of place阿!
